here's the working color scheme - the basic idea i'm going for and just need to be tweaking.
if you notice an errors, please let me know so i can fix them before applying this scheme to the real blog.
for the record, the white box to the upper right (below the name of the post and the funky looking "#20") should eventually be a checkered flag. i'm in the process of trying to figure out the best way to do that and getting it done.
other than that, things (except those that i've overlooked) should remain pretty much the same when it gets transferred to the real blog.
